The most expensive and scarcest resource on earth is peace. Many people would sacrifice everything they possess in order to have it. It is so expensive that Jesus had to suffer and die in order for us to obtain it.
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 4:7)
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.(Romans 14)
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”(John 14:27)
The Bible contains numerous references to peace. That is the reassurance that God desires peace for His people.
