IS EVERYONE A CHILD OF GOD?
“For as many are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God”. Romans 8:14
Every parent raises their child differently; a large portion of what we learned came from our own parents.
Parents can nurture their kids to be decent individuals, but they can also teach them to do wicked things.
God teaches His children in His own unique method, and the lessons He imparts are not just for this life but also for all of eternity.
The Holy Spirit of God leads (educates, instructs, orients, advises) those who are God’s children.
As a result, he learns what is right, how to satisfy God, how to apply his faith, how to maintain a pure heart, how to defeat the devil, and how to conquer sin.
He gains knowledge of how to revere the Father.
For the revelation of the sons of God is eagerly anticipated by the creation.
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Romans 8:19-21
Sin condemns a person to a life of servitude far from God.
The person’s blessing is not our top priority; rather, we want every visitor to the church to grow into a child of God.
We fight nonstop while working day and night, seeking God’s guidance. THIS IS WHAT WE EXPECT!
Because a person is free from vanity, corruption, sin, and all evil when they are born of God.
Individuals who are not of God are led by the spirit of this world, which is the cause of the misery we have witnessed as a result of people making the wrong decisions and losing their salvation.
“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is”.I John 3:2
The Child of God advances, not regresses!
When the Lord Jesus returns, He will bring the other God-children with Him.
At that time, a metamorphosis that is far more profound than the one that occurred when we were born of Him in this world will take place, and we will become like Him.
The spiritual growth of God’s children never stops.
And everyone who places their faith in Him makes efforts to become as pure as He is. I John 3:3
