Sunday of seeking Forgiveness and the Mercy Of God
Take heart if you’re feeling overwhelmed by regrets from the past and think you’ll never be able to forgive yourself. God is a merciful God, so asking for forgiveness and receiving it is totally doable. This Sunday, will be the Sunday Of Mercy.
We are kept from being consumed by the Lord’s mercies because His compassions never run dry. They are fresh every morning; how wonderful Your loyalty is. (3:22–23) Lamentations
The “Sunday of Mercy” will be observed this Sunday at all of the nearby Universal churches.
How to Obtain The Mercy Of God
A person will surely obtain mercy when they humble themselves before God and ask honestly for it. Now cry out, give yourself over, and put your faith in His mercy.
Refuse to listen to that inner voice that tells you, “God will never forgive me,” or “There is no way out for me.” Rather, pay attention to God’s voice; He is waiting for you to utter a word, a sigh, or a whisper.
You can be sure that God won’t turn His back on you if you humbly turn to Him and ask for mercy with all the sincerity in your soul.
However, genuine remorse is necessary for this to occur. Consequently, we invite you to compose a letter to God in which you disclose to Him all the details of your history and the shame you bear, together with a heartfelt plea for forgiveness, and deliver it this Sunday, September 8, at 10 a.m. (or 8:00 a.m.) at the former globe cinema or a nearby Universal Church.
Please bring a bottle of water and pictures of your family members to be blessed in order to get the most out of this event. Bring your Bible as well so you can follow along with the message.
