It is very painful to face the idea that so many things are going wrong in our generation. The amount of young people who are depressed is staggering, not to mention the teens who are addicted to various substances. According to statistics, suicide among the young generation is becoming a way of life. When one feels pushed to the walls by life, it is unfortunate that many choose suicide, if not addiction and depression. With this in mind, Victory Youth Group (VYG) Kenya has launched numerous programs to solve the challenges faced by young people, one of which is Mega Help 2025.
VYG Kenya’s Mega Help 2025 campaign aims to unite people for a day of entertainment, empowerment, and community involvement. The event seeks to improve the lives of young people and the community by inspiring individuals, fostering teamwork, and providing a stage for them to display their abilities.
The primary goal of Mega Help
In addition to entertainment, Mega Help 2025 is dedicated to addressing critical concerns confronting today’s youth, such as mental health issues, depression, suicide ideation, and addiction. Recognising the significance of offering support, the event will have a dedicated Vent Corner where young people can confide in someone without being judged. This event has benefitted many youngsters in Kenya and around the world through our VYG branches. With young individuals overcoming depression, anxiety, addictions, low self-esteem, and mental health problems.
What to expect at the Mega Help 2025
Vent Corner:A Safe Space for Confidential Support
The Vent Corner is a private space where guests can talk one-on-one with trained volunteers about their problems. If you're struggling with anxiety, despair, or addiction, this area provides a safe place to share and seek help.
A Day of Fun, Inspiration, and Community Impact
An thrilling and transformational event. A fantastic opportunity to see and participate in various activities and talent showcases.
This one-of-a-kind event will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 1 Kijabe Street in Nairobi, Kenya (formerly Globe Cinema, outside Simlaw House). With free admission, you may participate in an incredible day of music, competitions, performances, theatre, motivation, and much more.
