Take a look at this: you may remark that many of your families celebrate the start of the new year with fireworks. Others engage in customary New Year’s rituals in the hopes of finding the love they want, serenity, prosperity, and good health. Others they make their New Year’s Eve Vigil of the Family in the bar drinking alcohol.
But you may be thinking, “Year after year, I have lived by these traditions, but I haven’t noticed any improvements in my life.” Instead, you’ve seen that your issues and annoyances are getting worse every year.
Starting the New Year in God’s Presence
Put your entire life—not just the new year—in God’s hands and allow Him to direct your decisions. Doing this in the first few minutes of the new year is the best option.
For this reason, the New Year’s Eve Vigil at The Universal Church is held in God’s presence, when we present our lives, endeavors, and aspirations to Him. He alone is able to give us a joyful and fulfilling existence.

At the Vigil of the Family, which will be held at The Universal Church on December 31 at 10 PM, you can join us if you’re sick of meaningless customs and want to start 2025 with the Almighty’s blessing.
‘For the first time in the Universal Church’s history, the family will be the main focus of the New Year’s Eve Vigil. Even if they don’t go to church, religious people should encourage their family members to spend the final moments of the previous year and the beginning moments of the current one in prayer. During the “Intelligence and Faith” program, Bishop Renato Cardoso underlined that “everyone wants a good journey in the new year, and this occasion is truly unique.”
Would you and your family like to end the last hours of 2024 and start the early hours of 2025 in the presence of the Almighty?
