When we speak about family, what comes to mind? Think with me. The family serves as a paradigm for God’s Kingdom (Bishop Renato Cardoso recently remarked in one of his messages). He said that the father represents God, the mother represents the church, and the children teach their parents how God interacts and suffers with humans. Marriage represents God’s covenant, and siblings teach us how to deal with differences and obstacles in living together, which is necessary for all Christians. Our families teach us to serve and respect others. In simple words, Family: a reflection of the Kingdom of God.
But why would the devil seek to ruin the family?
1. Because by doing so, he separates people from God.
2. The adversary understands that if there is no peace and harmony in the home, people, especially those without a personal relationship with God, will feel secluded and succumb to temptations.
What should I do to uphold this peace and harmony in my family?

The devil detests the cross because it has the power to change people’s lives. Your family may be shattered, characterized by animosity and strife. Maybe you harbor grudges, hold your parents or siblings responsible for past suffering, and even wonder, “Why was I born into this family?”
What kind of attitude is appropriate? Bring everything to Jesus. All evil can only be absorbed by the cross, which also grants you peace, forgiveness, and trauma-free living.
Do not abandon your family! Cleansing your heart is the first step, regardless of whether they cause you pain, disappointment, or even shame. Keeping resentment or bitterness only makes you feel worse and can even cause you to repeat the same mistakes you are always criticizing in your own family.
Therefore, let us put ourselves at the foot of the cross because that is the only place where all people can undergo positive transformation.
Largest Pro-Family Event: (Family: a reflection of the Kingdom of God.)

The largest meeting of faith for the family will take place on April 18 at the Former Globe Cinema, No.1 Kijabe Street, near the Globe Roundabout. This event will take place on three consecutive days over the Easter holiday. This will occur simultaneously in all Universal Churches in Kenya.
"Research shows that families who pray, assemble, and seek God together remain united. Therefore, if you want to be together with your family, come and join in this wonderful event. Let us join at the foot of the cross to consecrate our family and avoid being pulled to the feet of an illness, a poor prognosis, or a cemetery stone while grieving the loss of a loved one. Bishop Renato exhorted, "Let us no longer bow before vices that destroy homes, but rather before the cross, before the Father, who defeated all the enemies of man and the family."
“The Family at the Foot of the Cross” is an event that promotes family values. Bringing the family to the cross implies submitting to Christ’s redeeming sacrifice. Even in the midst of his suffering on the cross, Jesus cared about familial bonds. Before He died, He asked that they care for His mother. He was likewise touched with compassion when He encountered Nain’s widow and, without her asking, He resurrected her son.
Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. 12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” 14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” 15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. (Luke 7:11-15)
