A Decision

What if your choice, rather than your circumstances, is the largest barrier preventing you from starting over? Who do you consult when making a decision?

Decisions are what make up life. We make decisions about what to do, say, and go in each day. However, there is one decision that many individuals make without realising it: doing nothing.

We are still making decisions when we put them off. We decide to stay in the same circumstances, put up with the same suffering, and hold out hope that something will change on its own. However, they hardly ever do.

Maybe you’ve been dealing with this issue for years. Nothing has changed despite your prayers, patience, and optimism. There comes a time when enough is enough, whether it has to do with your family, money, romantic life, spiritual life, or a persistent personal issue. A decision is the first step toward true change.

Many people hope that their life will change with time, good fortune, or even other people. True change, however, begins when an individual declares they will no longer put up with their current circumstances and assumes responsibility for their future.

God will never compel us to take action, but He is always willing to lead, support, and bless us. Rather, He waits for us to take the initial step toward faith. Nothing changes as long as we learn to accept our difficulties. However, we reach a point when we are prepared to fight for something different when we grow weary of enduring agony, weeping over the same issue, bearing the same load, and encountering the same setbacks.

The question is, ‘What Decision Should I Take,To Change My Story?’

Don’t let another week, month, or year go by while you put up with what could be altered.

Your journey to victory starts the moment you make the decision to cease accepting loss.

Nobody can improve their lives without making a sacrifice. Every significant choice demands sacrifice. Leaving bad relationships is sometimes necessary to make that sacrifice. At other instances, it entails letting go of harmful behaviours, pessimistic thoughts, or the uncertainties that have imprisoned you for a long period.

Holding onto the things from your past will prevent you from embracing a fresh future. You have to be prepared to make various decisions if you desire a different life.

Don’t let this become just another inspirational message for a short while before life resumes as usual.

Write down the choice you know you must make on a piece of paper. Give specifics. Then present it to the altar as a symbol of your resolve to move on from the past and start a fresh relationship with God.

This is your chance to speak out if you are carrying an injustice that hasn’t been addressed yet.

Sunday, July 19, marked the start of the Week of Decision in all Kenyan universal churches. Special prayers will be offered throughout the week for individuals who are committed to writing a new story and putting an end to unsolved issues.

Your future does not have to be determined by your current situation. One faith-based choice could be the pivotal moment you’ve been waiting for.
